The HUB

About Us

The HUB was formed as a 501C3 in 2001 to “Support Independent Living for our Senior and Disabled Neighbors” We have traditionally done this through free, volunteer based services, help in-kind needs, and through classes, workshops, information, and referrals. As we came alongside our senior neighbors, and grew to better know them and their needs, we became increasingly passionate about the need for a place for them to eat nutritious meals, socialize, recreate, exercise, learn and grow.
The dream is a reality! The HUB Center for Seniors is opened in 2016. We are very excited about our new facility and all the opportunities it gives give Seniors for Hospitality, Unity, and Belonging. We want this Center to be The HUB of North Mason County and provide a great gathering place for those of all ages for meals, classes, and services. This was all made possible by Les and Betty Krueger who gave The HUB matching funds to purchase land and the community joining the effort to raise the additional funds to build the first phase of our project.
Our calendar is jam packed full of activities to suit every interest. We rent both the Great Room and the commercial kitchen for events and fundraisers. We operate a neighbors Helping Neighbors program that provides a free medical lending library, manages a seniors food commodities program and gives rides and help with essential errands and chores for those in the community.
The HUB Shop is an amazing outlet to take your gently used goods as well as to shop for new treasures. Your shopping dollars at work in the community!
