Veterans Day Free Entrance in The National Parks

America's Best Idea — the national parks — is even better when it is free! Only 127 of the United States’ 407 national parks usually charge an entrance fee. In remembrance and in thanks of our country's veterans, the entrance fee is waived for parks across the country including the one closest to us, Olympic National Park. Fee waiver includes: entrance fees, commercial tour fees, and transportation entrance fees. Other fees such as reservation, camping, tours, concession and fees collected by third parties are not included unless stated otherwise.
