Always the first full weekend in October\, this local favorite festival draws visitors from all across the state   all in search of the perfect oyster\, oyster fritter\, oyster stew\, or just plain oyster on the half shell. Hosted by the Shelton Skookum Rotary Club Foundation and attended by thousands.\n\nwww.oysterfest.org\n\nAs always\, our Chamber will be grilling "Harry Martin's World Famous Oysters" this year.
