What's new in Mason County?"\n\nMonthly Membership Luncheon\n\nfeaturing Lynn Longan\, Executive Director\,\n\nEconomic Development Council of Mason County.\n\n\n    It has been less than a year since Lynn Longan came on board as Executive Director of the Economic Development Council of Mason County. She comes to our county with 22 years experience with the Washington State Department of Commerce\, most recently as the Department of Commerce Small Business Liaison for the ADO (EDC) Program.\n\n    Being a life-long resident of Mason County\, Lynn not only has enthusiasm and passion to improve her home community\, she brings with her a large network of connections and tools to bring much-needed economic development opportunities to our area. \n\n     In June\, Lynn was elected to the Washington Economic Development Association (WEDA) Board of Directors.\n\n     The EDC works with its many partners to help solve transportation\, utility\, and regulatory issues.
