Grab your paddle boat\, canoe\, kayak\, raft or SUP and join Hood Canal Events and the Hardware Distillery as we paddle across the Hood Canal and back on June 24th\, 2017! We invite travelers to experience "\;FjordinCrossin\,"\; located in Hoodsport\, WA\, where we will celebrate Aquivit - an old world Scandinivian distilled spirit often drunk during festive gatherings and holidays.

\n\nThere are many traditions\, toasts and songs that accompany Aquivit\, and FjordinCrossin is the tradition where the spirits are taken by boat in their oak barrels across the canal and back - it is believed the rocking motion of the boat makes the spirits taste better. Chuck\, the head distiller will depart from the Hoodsport dock at 11am and we will be hosting the 1st annual Paddle the Canal Challenge for registered participants. The paddle race is approximately 3 miles roundtrip\, and the event will include a swag bag from local sponsors and great prizes will be awarded to 1st\, 2nd\, 3rd and best team finishers along with tons of fun and festivities!
