Drew MacEwen was first elected to the House in 2012\, and quickly emerged as a leader on issues including tax reform and education funding reform. Drew has brought a bold agenda to the Legislature\, rooted in his experiences as both a business and civic leader in his community.  The Ranking Member on the House General Government and Information Technology Committee\, Drew also serves on the House Appropriations Committee. Additionally\, he serves on the Joint Veteran and Military Affairs Committee\, and the Joint Legislative Audit and Review Committee.\n\nDrew served in the United States Navy for six years. Serving in the submarine force\, Drew graduated from the Navy's Nuclear Propulsion Program and was stationed at Naval Base Kitsap\, where he developed a strong bond with western Washington. He went on to complete undergraduate studies at the State University of New York\, earning a Bachelor of Science degree.\n\nUpon completion of his naval service\, Drew entered the financial services industry. He is the founder and president of the investment firm Falcon Financial Inc.\, located in Union\, Washington.
